Brow laminations are semi-permanent chemical services designed to aid clients with redirecting brow hairs into an artfully styled brow. Brow laminations also cover moderate sparse areas, straighten overly curled hairs and aid clients with thin or downward facing brows have fuller, defined brows.
Are Brow Laminations Safe? Will Brow Laminations Make My Brow Hairs Fall Out?

Free consultations are provided to every Skin Alchemy 22 client, and, recommendations made to strengthen brows to prep for service should it be needed.
Who Should Get a Brow Lamination?
Brow laminations can be great for all ethnicities and hair types. Clients who have sparse, thin and downward facing brow hairs see the most ehanced results. Any clients who love a defined, full and maintenance free brow could enjoy a lamination. Brow laminations are a chemical service so it is always recommended to book these services with a licensed practitioner.
My Brows are Microbladed, Can I Get a Brow Lamination?
Yes! Clients who have received microblading at least 6 weeks prior can get a brow lamination. Brow laminations are great alternatives for clients covering aged, faded microblading procedures. Please note, that skin healing is not universal. It’s important to consult with a licensed practitioner to ensure the health and integrity of your skin prior to receiving a brow lamination after a microblading procedure.
Do Brow Laminations Hurt?
Beyond a quickly diminishing tingle from processing, brow laminations should not cause any discomfort during or after services.
Who Should Not Receive a Brow Lamination?
Brow laminations are a chemical service and should not be performed on various conditions. Not sure if you’re an ideal candidate? Consult with your licensed practitioner.
Eczema, psoriasis or alopecia
Sunburn
Permanent Make-up
Blood Thinners
Topical and Oral Acne Medications (i.e. Isotretinoin)
Botox + Other Fillers
Blepharitis / Other inflammatory conditions affecting the brow or orbital area
Recent Surgery / Trauma affecting brow or orbital area
Chemotherapy
Antibiotics (must be 14 days post usage)
Trichotillomania
Hypersensitivity
Can Pregnant + Breastfeeding Persons Get a Brow Lamination?
Yes! Pregnant and breastfeeding persons can get brow lamination services. Pregnancy, including 4th trimester, effects hormonal balances and can lead to excessive hair shedding and loss. Consult with your doctor and licensed practitioner prior to booking services.
Will Brow Tinting Make My Brows Too Dark or Unnatural?
No. Brow tinting is the perfect compliment to a make-up free, make-up look. Get it? ;) Tinting differs from Henna (a semi-permanent tint service that tints both skin and hair and is typically used to define brow shapes prior to semi-permanent make-up services). Tinting services adhere only to natural brow hair and will not mask brow gapping without an accompanying brow lamination.

What is a Lash Lift?
Lash Lifts are semi-permanent chemical treatments designed to define and elongate lash hairs to create a beautiful curl of your natural lashes for up to 6 weeks. Lash Lifts are a great alternative to individual lash extensions and lash strips that can be paired. Lash lifts are effective on straight and short lashes, too.
Are Lash Lifts Safe? Will Lash Lifts Make My Lashes Fall Out?

Lifts provide the ultimate “bright-eye” effect. Lash lifts are a chemical service so it is always recommended to book these services with a licensed practitioner.
Should I Use a Lash Curler with my Lash Lift?
No. It is highly discouraged to use manual or heated lash curlers on ANY lashes. Lash lifts are chemical treatments and best integral results are observed when no further modifications are made after receiving service. Use of lash curlers can cause excessive shedding or permanent loss of lashes. Additionally, heated curlers can also cause loss of lift prematurely. Lash Lifts are semi-permanent and natural relaxing of the lash hairs are to be expected between 4 (oily skin types) and 6 weeks (normal to dry skin types).
Can I Use Mascara with My Lash Lift?
While you can use oil free mascara formulations, it is strongly recommended that clients DO NOT use mascara with lash lifts. Lash lifts are chemical treatments, while mascara has its own unique chemical formulation. Use of mascara can cause excessive shedding, permanent loss of lashes or cause lift to fall prematurely.
